Located in the South West
corner of Canada’s British Columbia it is a short journey by ferry
from Vancouver to Vancouver Island, and the Harbour City of Nanaimo.

Vancouver
Island stretches 520 km, from Port Hardy, to Victoria the capitol
city of British Columbia, and stretches southeast to northwest along
the western coast of British Columbia. Vancouver Island has a
population of over 750,000.
The rugged west coast of
Vancouver Island is cut deeply by fjords lined between high mountains
with many communities located along the shores of protected bays. The
eastern plain, on which Nanaimo is located, is rich with timber,
farmlands, fishing streams, villages, and modern cities.
